Analisis Dampak Pandemi Covid-19 Terhadap Kondisi Kelancaran Usaha : Studi Kasus Pada Pelaku Usaha di Pasar Gelugur Rantauprapat Labuhanbatu Sumatera Utara
Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic is a virus that for the past 2 years has been rife to be discussed. This virus has spread throughout the world, especially in Indonesia. The existence of this virus has had a huge impact not only on health conditions but also on the country's economy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the smooth running of the business of traders and government policies to assist business actors who were affected by the spread of the Covid-19 virus. This research was conducted at Gelugur Rantauprapat Market, with a sample of business actors in that market. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used in this research is triangulation technique (observation, interview and documentation). From the research carried out, it was found that the spread of the covid-19 virus had a big influence on the smooth running of the business. This can be seen since the enactment of PPKM has made the business of traders so empty of buyers, making their income and turnover from sales decreased drastically. As a result there are some traders who are not able to continue their business, but some others still maintain their business in order to meet their daily needs. The way for traders to survive in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is by reducing the amount of merchandise, lowering selling prices or by opening other businesses. , Basic Material Assistance, Free Electricity Program and debt relief, which these programs really help ease the burden on these business actors.
